Professional growth and learning
We establish diversity right from the start having British Ukrainian, British Asian and Black British in the team. Executive team members all completed PhD degrees, have international business experience in energy transition and corporate sustainability, actively contributed to recent research in energy system optimisation and novel AI/ML applications.
We intensively seek inclusivity. We will invite and proactively seek women, including specialists with black and muslim heritage as key business leaders, maintain strong connection with LGBT+ groups, with existing and practical collaboration in energy transition and sustainability.
We create equitable team, building opportunities to develop talent, grow leaders, and enhance decision quality. We encourage everyone to produce thought leadership pieces, represent the group and collaboration at leading conferences and industry roundtables, and take a role engaging with national and international regulators.
SR Energy fosters collaborative culture based on authenticity, openness, empowerment and responsibility. This includes defining and communicating long-term vision, immediate and interim goals, expected working and reporting approach.
We allow reasonable flexibility in roles and responsibilities, but define challenging, still achievable targets, so everyone has a clear understanding of what is expected and allow people to own results and details to achieve them.
Often work in SR Energy allows substantial elements of autonomy except in the most critical and challenging situations. This means continually cultivating closer relationships within the team, guiding it through challenges and crises. Management allocates sufficient time to understand people’s strengths and weaknesses, to define personal development plans and coach.
